This month has seen significant interest in the implementation of the Internet of Things for industrial applications (IIoT). The roll out of IoT in several ports around the world is showing the increasing robustness of the technology and driving interest. The use of IP from Ceva for a low power Bluetooth 5 system-on-chip that can use energy harvesting is also helping to boost the delivery of IIoT capability.
The roll out of I3C is also being boosted with a royalty free version of the basic implementation, but still a premium for the rest of the functionality.
